Family Self-Sufficiency Program

Who is eligible for the FSS program?

Residents are eligible for the Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program if they meet the following criteria:

Resident of VIHA? If you’re part of any housing assistance program that VIHA runs, like Public Housing or getting help with your rent, you’re on the right track.
Head of Your Household? You need to be the boss at home, the main person who makes decisions for your family in the FSS program.
A Good Tenant? Make sure you’re following the rules of your housing agreement.
Ready to Roll Up Your Sleeves? You should be eager to work towards making your life and finances better.
